Reed’s last 1st grade field trip.
Night before Mother’s Day Chance took me to get my favorite ice cream treat at our new Dairy Queen!
At church we started our Change for Real Choices and our 7th graders were amazing. They labeled bottles and passed them out to people after both services.
I am so thankful for these 3 kids that God has blessed me to be their Mother.
After church Reed had a scrimmage. Then after the scrimmage Chance and 2 of the other coaches took us to El Paseo!
It was a wonderful Mother’s Day!
At Sonshine Academy every year the 3’s department does a Mother’s Day Tea. It is so sweet. They came in and stood in front of our tables and sang for us and then joined us for cupcakes and punch. They present us with a present and then we look through their Me Books from the school year.
These 3 were known as The Three Stooges.
Have you seen the cute new show Doc McStuffins on Disney Junior? Well if not you should drop by our house. We love it! Super cute and sweet!
The show inspired me to do Chloe’s 4th birthday party medical/Doc McStuffins theme.
I have a very talented friend Catherine at Everything Design that helped me do the invitations, water bottle wraps and cupcake toppers.
As Chloe’s friends arrived they received a Dr.’s coat (boys white undershirts-cut up the middle) and a hospital bracelet. On the hospital bracelet I asked them their age and the weighed them. It would have been fun to measure them as well, but they were ready to play.
They were then ready to diagnose some serious problems and help administer first aid. The kids loved this and spent much longer doing this than I thought they would.
First Aid was fully equipped with a Dr’s kit, rubber gloves, popsicle sticks, blood pressure cuff, felt band-aids, guaze, etc. and the patients (stuffed animals).
Band-aid template (cut 1)
After First Aid they could color and draw in their own Book of Boo-boo’s (mini composition notebooks).
Then the food! Always my favorite.
Band-aids (sugar wafers with icing)
Apple a day keeps the Dr. away, Cheese Sticks, Cotton Balls (marshmellows), Band-aids and Q-tips (see below)
Q-tips (pretzel sticks with marshmellows dipped in white chocolate)
Each child left with a Dr.’s kit, Dr.’s bag, felt band-aids, real band-aids, suckers, and stickers.
Easter is to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ! He’s alive and wants to have a personal relationship with you and I…How incredible is that? If you want to know more email/msg me.
Easter is also a lot of fun for the kids. We have an egg hunt at our preschool.
Easter morning we went to church then to Chance’s parents and then to my parents.
Reed started Spring Break with a fever 😦
Chance fixing a laptop with the only headset the kids could find. 🙂
Pink Lemonade Pie, Yummy!
Friends came to town to stay with us and we had lots of fun and stayed very busy.
Reed still not feeling well so we went to the ER instead of swimming with everyone else. He had a stomach virus.
St. Patrick’s Day
Chance had a guys weekend with his brother and some friends. They fished and other manly stuff.
